18AM series thermal protector is a kind of current and temperature induction protection device.When the heat generated by the increasing temperature from the protected appliances transmits to bimetal disc,and reaching the temperature value of scheduled movement, the bimetal disc will trip immediately so that the contact will be switched off and the circuit will be cut off.When the temperature decreases to the rated temperature value of reposition,bimetal disc will return to its initial state,the moving contact will be closed and the circuit will be ON. The metal case is electtiferous,so this series thermal protector equips with sleeve.

18AM series thermal protectors have the characteristics of small size, sensitive induction, good sealing, accurate temperature and so on. They are mainly used for small motors, temperature controllers, transformers, ballasts, batteries and so on below 0.5 horsepower.

1 The heating rate of action temperature detection should be controlled to 1 °C/1min;

2 The protector shell shall not withstand strong impact and pressure during use.
