Use a multimeter to measure the insulation resistance between the motor terminal and the casing, which should be greater than 05 megohms. If the resistance value is infinite, it indicates that the capacitor of the motor is good.
Turn on the power switch for comprehensive measurement. If the instrument has signal output, the weight ratio should be assigned, that is, the instrument should not touch the motor with hands to measure the power supply voltage.
Remove the protective switch. If the motor has a signal output, it indicates a short circuit at the L terminal of the instrument. The protective switch should be removed and the isolation switch closed.
When taking out the rotors in sequence, they should be isolated for 05-1 minutes, and the thickness of the surface plate of the mirror plate should not be less than 5mm, or there should be 1-25mm left at the increased journal.
Use a 2500V megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the stator and rotor windings. There should be a high resistance, which is affected by the surface insulation of the coil or motor. In other words, the low value should fluctuate with high or low resistance values, and the minimum value should be less than 05 megohms.
Measure that the insulation resistance between phases is greater than 05 megohms, without any weak links, and there should be no contact between brushes and slip rings. Otherwise, the voltage should be reduced, which may have adverse effects on the generator.
The conductive wires are suitable for single machine production, and there should be no risk of electric leakage in the cables. Workers are prohibited from working at the grounding body.
● Check whether the winding and wire of three-phase motor are broken or overheated. If there is wrong heating, stop the inspection immediately.
Check whether the stator winding is burnt out. The stator winding should be regularly inspected and any problems found should be promptly resolved.
